What Is Your Favorite Top Selling Open World Game Series?
I want to know your favorite open world game series! I decided to list some of the top selling and grossing well known series in this poll, however if you have an open world game that you would love to be know go ahead and post them in the #openworldgames catagory in the community or voice your thoughts in the comments!

ReplyDeleteMinecraft for me, yeah GTA and Fallout is still a very fun open world game, but Minecraft is also a sandbox game with randomly generated worlds, so there's always gonna be something new to do or discover
ReplyDeleteFC and AC have gotten very similar mechanically over the years. ES and Fallout are likewise very similar in terms of their mechanics. Basically then it's just a matter of which world you prefer, so I'll hesitatingly go with Fallout. The ES universe is also amazing, though...

Odyssey genuinely seems good though
Far Cry

Overall Elder Scrolls and Fallout have consistently made great games. I haven't played all GTA games but the series has been very good. Far Cry has 3 great games, but 4 and Primal were mediocre. 5 was above average. Not great, but a step in the right direction. Assassin's Crees has the most games out of all these franchises and only managed to make 1 above average game. Not to mention the majority is copy and paste content.

ReplyDeleteJeeses99 Far Cry 2 is hands down the best game! Its realistic and the most immersive, the open world feels authentic and your outcomes are not at all formulaic. I'd even go onto saying its a survival wilderness style game.

ReplyDeleteIt isn't a good game. If you're triggered my me not praising mediocrity then I don't know what to tell you.
The entire AC series is a joke. I used to think AC 2 was great but that was before I knew what an ACTUAL story, gameplay, characters, etc are. AC 2 reeks of mediocrity. It isn't bad, but it's just average on all levels. Hell all the games are except Black Flag.
