You can store food in your refrigerator and eat it again the next day . . . and even the day after that, and the day after that, too. lol! And who knows? Maybe he has a roommate or two, as well. No grandma is going to just bring food for their grandchild and not feed their roommates at the same time. lol!
When my grandma was an actual grandma, I remember going to her house real late at night after my paw paw's shift and seeing her just randomly cooking dinner for me. It was always "there's a soda in the fridge, donuts on the table, and I'm cookin' chicken an' fries. Go an' get yoself some!"
