If The Nintendo NX (Codename) Launches With A Large Amount Of Games, Strong Specs And A Good Controller, Would You Buy One? (Community Poll #9)
Recently a lot of NX news has been going around so I am very curious!
Console preferences aside, would you purchase Nintendo's next home console if it has a good amount of 1st party and 3rd party content? I not I would also love to know! #nintendo #gaming

Um, I would have to think about it. Personally I prefer PCs because more customizability and stuff, but if it's really good, maybe.
ReplyDeleteDepends.
ReplyDeleteRemember, the Dreamcast had a pretty good launch line-up, great 3rd party games, a pretty good library of software, and it was considered ahead of its time when it first came out--- and it still got discontinued after only 3 years.
People can psyche themselves up however they want-- I'm never one to fall for the hype. I need to be shown the goods.
I'm sure the NX would be the perfect companion for my PC.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that Nintendo will always have exclusives is enough to keep me buying the console.
ReplyDeleteI eventually get any Sony & Nintendo system. They always have exclusives I want to play & I love both companies.
ReplyDeleteBrie no.20 the Wii U will be 4 yrs old on November 2016. Dreamcast went 3 years vs 3, 1/2 with Wii u.
ReplyDeleteEven with weak launch titles I'm going to get one.
ReplyDeleteTeodoro Franco Well when you think about it, both the Dreamcast and the Wii U are at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to performance in sales. I was comparing them because I didn't think hardware capability mattered to the retail lifespan of either system so much as marketing does.
ReplyDeleteWell a 3rd party developer already stated that Nintendo isn't releasing the specs or dev kits at all so developers don't have any Idea what they are working with and how they just expect devs to make games for it purely because they are Nintendo. In case you didn't know that is exactly why the Wii U had no 3rd party support, literally the exact same reason verbatim. So the NX is dying before it's even been revealed
ReplyDeleteIf it also had backwards combatability then I'd definetily buy it.
ReplyDeleteIt's too early to be making opinions. We don't even know what the console itself will look like
ReplyDeleteAlso Arwun it's not Sony's fault for making their system cost more in different countries other than places like US. It's how their economy works(?) Idk, I live in the US, just a guess
Octo Dinosaur Somewhat agree, due the the Wii U im waiting before buying the NX
ReplyDeleteOcto Dinosaur Why I agree that it is still too early for a console still only talked about in rumors, I don't think it matters what the console looks like. I know, such a weird thing to bring up.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, the economy of different countries affects the console prices. Look at how costly it is just to buy games in Australia and Canada. They also have some laws that cause these prices but idk too much about it.
Kassandra Bonilla I just listed that to show how little we know about it. If you don't even have the basic information as what it looks like, how are you to make opinions on the rest of the console.
ReplyDeleteA good controller? The game pad was awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe Nice Poodle yeah, same! tbh I probably won't even get it, unless it is just outstandingly good
ReplyDeleteIf it got good games...
ReplyDeleteOcto Dinosaur Ah, I understand. I had a feeling I was missing the context of the question.
ReplyDeleteI love watching NX rumors because I like to see how many will be real by the time it's revealed
But the classical fps games must be available too
ReplyDeleteDepends on the games and how much money I have
ReplyDeleteI'm buying the nx even if it's a bigger flop than the virtual boy
ReplyDeleteKassandra Bonilla same here, it's very entertaining, lol
ReplyDeleteIs "strong specs" PS3 hardware? Or just the usual calculator hardware they use?
ReplyDeleteIf I can get more than Mario Zelda and Sonic out of this thing....then I might give it s shot
ReplyDeleteits a Nintendo console of course I would.
