If The Nintendo NX (Codename) Launches With A Large Amount Of Games, Strong Specs And A Good Controller, Would You Buy One? (Community Poll #9)
Recently a lot of NX news has been going around so I am very curious!
Console preferences aside, would you purchase Nintendo's next home console if it has a good amount of 1st party and 3rd party content? I not I would also love to know! #nintendo   #gaming

  1. Um, I would have to think about it. Personally I prefer PCs because more customizability and stuff, but if it's really good, maybe.

  2. Depends.
Remember, the Dreamcast had a pretty good launch line-up, great 3rd party games, a pretty good library of software, and it was considered ahead of its time when it first came out--- and it still got discontinued after only 3 years.
People can psyche themselves up however they want-- I'm never one to fall for the hype. I need to be shown the goods.

  3. I'm sure the NX would be the perfect companion for my PC.

  4. The fact that Nintendo will always have exclusives is enough to keep me buying the console.

  5. I eventually get any Sony & Nintendo system. They always have exclusives I want to play & I love both companies.

  6. Brie no.20 the Wii U will be 4 yrs old on November 2016. Dreamcast went 3 years vs 3, 1/2 with Wii u.

  7. Even with weak launch titles I'm going to get one.

  8. Teodoro Franco Well when you think about it, both the Dreamcast and the Wii U are at opposite ends of the  spectrum when it comes to performance in sales. I was comparing them because I didn't think hardware capability mattered to the retail lifespan of either system so much as marketing does.

  9. Well a 3rd party developer already stated that Nintendo isn't releasing the specs or dev kits at all so developers don't have any Idea what they are working with and how they just expect devs to make games for it purely because they are Nintendo. In case you didn't know that is exactly why the Wii U had no 3rd party support, literally the exact same reason verbatim. So the NX is dying before it's even been revealed

  11. It's too early to be making opinions. We don't even know what the console itself will look like

Also Arwun it's not Sony's fault for making their system cost more in different countries other than places like US. It's how their economy works(?) Idk, I live in the US, just a guess

  12. Octo Dinosaur Somewhat agree, due the the Wii U im waiting before buying the NX

  13. Octo Dinosaur Why I agree that it is still too early for a console still only talked about in rumors, I don't think it matters what the console looks like. I know, such a weird thing to bring up.

But yeah, the economy of different countries affects the console prices. Look at how costly it is just to buy games in Australia and Canada. They also have some laws that cause these prices but idk too much about it.

  14. Kassandra Bonilla I just listed that to show how little we know about it. If you don't even have the basic information as what it looks like, how are you to make opinions on the rest of the console.

  16. The Nice Poodle yeah, same! tbh I probably won't even get it, unless it is just outstandingly good

  17. Octo Dinosaur Ah, I understand. I had a feeling I was missing the context of the question.

I love watching NX rumors because I like to see how many will be real by the time it's revealed
