Community Question Quest #31 What Do You Do When You Are Stuck In A Difficult Part In A Video Game And Need Help?
New week, new question, so we all get stuck in a game right? So i'm simply curious of what you'd do to solve that difficult part! I would also like to hear your opinions in the comment section on this question. Like always members follow community rules and enjoy!

  1. I usually take a break and come back to it and if I’m still having problems I YouTube it

  2. If the difficulty can be solved by a skill I just keep trying (example: boss fight etc..)

If I stuck because I didn't know what to do next, maybe I search for the solution online.
In the past we couldn't use internet so we have to figure out the solution by our self.

  3. I will try to tackle the issue by myself for about 2 hours. If I can't do anything I give up and look on youtube if I feel like it.

  4. Continuously push attempt after attempt until victory is achieved.

Even if it means death count is over 100.

  5. Usually I take a nap. I find when I'm stuggling with a game, it's because I'm tired.

  6. If it’s something like Dark Souls, I either keep trying or take a break then come back to it, because there’s no fucking way in Hell it’s going to go any easier on me.

If it’s a game where lowering the difficulty is possible, it would be my very last option, when I’m certain I won’t be able to beat it any other way.

  7. Read a walkthrough but just for that specific little part of the quest. Fights don't bother me and I don't mind getting my character killed

  8. When I'm stuck on a difficult part I take a break, think of a new strategy and try again

  9. If it's simply me dying because I fail at doing something properly, I keep trying. If the problem is that I don't know what to do in the first place, I either watch a video or read about it.

  10. If it's just a matter of ability then I keep trying and adding new techniques in the hopes that one of them works. Eventually I'll have a system to get through.

If it's a puzzle that I absolutely can not solve, I look it up.

  11. Keep trying until I figure it out or not. Either way, I check some Internet walkthroughs to see how it's done correctly, and if I did it correctly or not.

  12. I take long ass breaks then go back to the game later lol

  13. If its a certain object or place I cant find then I look around a little bit then find a video.

If its a tough boss fight/mission/level/quest/ect then I keep trying until I finish it or on the slightly rarer side lower the difficulty.

I have barely any friends so thats not an option.

Asking a forum would take far too long

  15. I'd say all of the above because I have done each and every one of them.

  16. Well back then if you got stuck, you had to call on family or friends who were familiar with the game. Otherwise, I would search ever nook and cranny till I found a solution. So my NES instincts usually kicks in when I play games today.

  17. If it's a boss, ill just take a brake and try again later.
I get stuck more often when in some RPG's you have to do a specific thing to progress the story, but i missed it. Then i just check online forums for solution.
