Rony Mishchuk it detects root even without tripping knox. You can still unroot and go Back to stock for samsung pay unless we ever get boot unlocked root
Ferman Cavazos I was able to map custom s pen comands (one that lets me use it as a camera snap with my camera stand) and install sound root hacks, sorta nifty, but I understand your point. But I am suprisingly finding it useful so far. Softkeyz is so far my favorite root app with custom softkeys.
Mr Nobody like?
ReplyDeleteMr Nobody I'm pretty sure you only loose Samsung pay if Knox is tripped
ReplyDeleteMr Nobody I do not use Samsung Pay
ReplyDeleteI noticed the battery glitch, but I just got an app that tells me the real percentage
Don't know what magisk is
Netflix works fine...0 issues
I have a Nexus 7 and Galaxy Tab With Xposed framework, I am fine
I do not care to flash a rom like ever, I actually love Samsungs rom
Its not affecting anything internally, so having it till it gets more development is personally worth it (its also sorta fun)
Rony Mishchuk it doesn't trip knox suprisingly, i'm serious it actually doesn't
ReplyDeleteMr Nobody LMAO, Netlfix works FINE

ReplyDeleteAll the talk about Google blocking the play store for rooted phones doesn't concern you?
ReplyDeleteandroidauthority.com - Google Play can now prevent rooted users from downloading certain apps
ReplyDeleteM Lakia They haven't for me at all! I just updated Google Maps and Netflix runs fine. I think most of these blocks have simply been bypassed by now.
ReplyDeleteAndroid and Samsung have come a long way in terms of software improvement. I no longer find the need to root unless I am using a really old device.
ReplyDeleteI say that as I flashed Lineage OS 14 on my daughter's S3 yesterday, yet I am still stock on my Note 8.
Personally I don't root and/Or flash unless I just want to be an asshole about having the latest stable(ish) Android release on newer phones.

ReplyDeleteWon't be buying one anytime soon, but still nice I guess.
ReplyDeleteGreat to know. Thanks! I have too many Tasker automation developed for my Androids which rely on the root access.
