Static Dedenne yeah good luck trying to run the last of us or gta 5 on the switch. Also i don't get the "pc from 2005" thing, if a pc so old is able to run gta 4 at minimum graphics and you say it's better than mario, doesn't that mean that, as i said, gta4 has better graphics in any way? You fell into your own trap... Btw i didn't say "this game is shit because has worse graphics", i just meant that it's impossible to think the picture belongs to gta4, so why are you even angry? My god, if all nintendo fans are like you...
MΛrCO28 / FussyGamer Calm down - you're the one getting agitated here. Anyway, a Switch has 512 GFLOPS of GPU juice (you can compare the pixel fillrate, the shaders and textures and so on if you don't believe me), while an XBox 360 and PS3, both capable of running the game, boast less than 230. 'Argument' over.
Static Dedenne again, i don't play specs, i play games. When you'll be able to run the games i told you before, then we can talk. Btw even if you can it's not that amazing if you consider that xbox 360 and ps3 came out in 2006/2007, i don't care about what nintendo thinks, switch is part of this generation
I'm actually really curious to see what games will arrive on the switch, this second half of 2017 and 2018 will be crucial. With skyrim coming it doesn't look like it has so much power as you say
MΛrCO28 / FussyGamer I agree 100% - gameplay over graphics (unless the graphics are really shabby). Let's just end this. The Switch could run GTA if it was ported - any system could with enough modifications, after all, but it hasn't been ported so it can't literally play GTA IV. Done - argument over. Let's be cool with each other.
Static Dedenne i agree on the gameplay over graphics too, just saying imo nintendo can't act like she's on the same level of the other consoles, just like consoles can't with the pc
MΛrCO28 / FussyGamer But when you're on the train, or sitting in an aeroplane, it doesn't matter how many TFLOPS an XBox or PlayStation or desktop PC has, it's not gonna' output any video you can use, and if it is, it's gonna' be one hell of a setup. But when the Switch is being used as a home console, then yeah, it's not really on the same level.
MΛrCO28 / FussyGamer Such as? A PS Vita doesn't have all the great games the 3DS has, but it's a bit painful to look at 3D games that look blurry in 240p. A Switch is far more expensive, a gaming laptop even moreso, and the latter doesn't have anywhere near the same form factor.
Static Dedenne i think if you are the kind of gamer who would buy a switch then a 3ds is good for you. Or the 2ds, i'm not an expert. I had the old ds and i have to say it was really amazing, so many cool games, it'a shame that nintendo failed with the 3ds and the wiiU

ReplyDeleteMΛrCO28 / FussyGamer Well if you play it on a PC from 2005.... But anyway, the Switch is far more powerful than a 360 or PS3.

ReplyDeleteResinds .P Things like Pokemon or 2D Mario look fine, but then Xenoblade or Monster Hunter just hurt my eyes. Seriously regret buying Xenoblade, tbh

ReplyDeleteStatic Dedenne i played monster hunter generations and it looks fine
ReplyDeleteResinds .P Each to their own I guess. I'm happy you had a good time with it
