So Very True, It Does Get Shit Done!

So Very True, It Does Get Shit Done!

  1. Mac, PC, Linux, all made for different groups of people, and getting shit done properly for their respective groups.

  2. Moe Loop and thats only if they even adopt linux, it gets thing done, but not the way most bussiness want to

  3. Linux: a flying car that can also shape shift into a gun, a phone, and basically anything you need it to be. But it will never get accsessories addons

  4. BlackSlash The Dragon exactly and wont be as widely adopted

  5. Sigurður Már Gestsson they aren't so expensive when they help you completed specific professional tasks flawlessly.

  6. guylandry1992 flawlessly? Normal pcs can do that too. Flawlessly. And every product has some flaws. And after Steve jobs died, apple has become uninnovative and overpriced bullshit.

  7. Peter Müller true but windows is associated with the word, Mac doesn't use it, and Linux is too unique to even need to be specifically referred to as Linux PC, since Linux computers are just beginning to be made and the OS can be used with almost any device that has an OS. But I'm sure people know they're all PCs. I hope.

  8. Sigurður Már Gestsson not that the product doesn't have flaws, I said it "performs specific tasks flawlessly." Specific because there are many things that Macs and windows of similar specs can or can't do. I make music and other audio projects which are simply impossible using Linux as a native OS without using programs like wine.

Using windows PCs of equal specs to their Mac counterparts the projects weren't smooth and needed restarts; the units sometimes overheated and got very noisy. When using the Macs I had none of those problems in my case over the years. All the computers were high quality and maxed out on RAM with great processors and drives. There are also great softwares available exclusively on Mac that once you're used to and highly productive with, it would be a mistake to move to windows and start over.

Windows and Macs are all great, but like I said, there are specifics that make them either superior or inferior in particular cases, and I know that because I use them all and I also know that with Linux for example, having to enter codes into your terminal for issues that can randomly show up, plus the lack of friendliness with outside programs, makes the OS (all flavors) somewhat inferior to Windows and Mac in the general market.

  9. And it gets it done for half the fucking price!

But you can't compare a cheap OEM PC to a mac that's almost twice the price.

  11. Mac: $1200 for a pretty case, the Apple logo, and only a few bits of decent hardware

PC: $1200 for an epic case, a respectable logo, and all decent hardware

  12. I run Windows 7 literally 99% of the time on my late 2011 Macbook Pro. I like the build quality of Apple and for as long as I've been repairing electronics, never seen a Macbook split in half or have a major failure (besides the hard drive failing). I've yet to see anything come close to Apple's build.

  13. Cyndro Of Concurrent Skies logo should mean nothing, only hardware matters

  14. Dustin Van Tate Testa I could agree with that

  15. Cyndro Of Concurrent Skies ignorant comment.

  16. Hans Lecaros what do you mean 'ignorant'?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hans Lecaros because of you think that I think PCs are better because others believe the same, I have news for you...

  18. Cyndro Of Concurrent Skies to say all macs have decent hardware is just ignorant of your part if you never used a mac besides browsing the net, some photoshop or playing a few games. Now if you use it for Autocad, 3D animation, video editing where you truly can test what a computer is about. Then your opinion is invalid. The environment I work at have both Windows and Mac desktops and they all perform amazingly. Please share with us if you "really" use a computer and be honest, if not keep it to yourself.

  19. Hans Lecaros what I said was some decent hardware, that is it's not all decent hardware. I understand that there's a lot of Macs that don't have decent hardware, when I was still pro Apple, I had a machine that didn't have decent hardware. For what I needed a computer for, the PC I've built is more than adequate. Don't say someone's comment is ignorant because of a little misunderstanding

  20. Cyndro Of Concurrent Skies your comment will stay ignorant when you stop making generic responses/comments.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hans Lecaros hmmph. And I'm the ignorant one...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Cyndro Of Concurrent Skies Yeah, your first comment is, don't try to hide it by pointing fingers at something else.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hans Lecaros I honestly think you're misunderstood. Now if you're excuse me I have more important things to do than continue an argument over false minutia on the Internet.

  25. I should probably add that part of the high price on Mac products comes with customer service. A personal case that affected me is when had a bad issue with some 2011-12 Macbook pro models which had horrible graphics cards. Apple did deny it was their fault but later admitted and refunded customers or performed the repairs. One of my MBP for example failed 3 times and each $310 repair was taken care of even though it was out of warranty, recently they replaced it with the $2,500 top of the line 2015 MBP free instead of another repair.

Though it's not a regular occurrence, you're not likely to experience that with Windows PCs because dozens of manufacturers use their OS, which means you have more than one company to address your issues with if they are hardware or software related; each company has a different set of rules, with apple products you deal with one company for hardware and software issues.

    PC Patricians > Mac Miscreants

  27. Nonsense. Always the same silly stories.

  28. Wait what?? Did you forget abt bunch of crashes, viruses, BSOD, etc, etc, etc on PC?

Nothing wrong with hardwares, their all the same. But Windows is the shitty OS ever build

    ReplyDelete
  29. Aldy Waani what do you think, if all the idiots make virus, Spyware etc begin to do it for osX? About the bosd, many time is blame of third part drivers developer.

    ReplyDelete
  30. cisano cisano i'm not saying OSX is immune. There's viruses on OSX too.
but the fact is windows system is way more vulnerable to many type of attacks in every aspects compared to other OS.

Look i use win, osx, RHEL at home at work. on workstations, a turnkey system, and servers..
I got nothing wrong with Linux & OSX, but the Windows machine crashes all the time.

And yeah just blame 3rd party devs. Our engineers team would love to do that
