Omg I miss blockbuster too. We went there all the time to get movies until one day it closed for good because stupid family video put it out of business. Now the whole store is a CenturyLink and a mini store only occupied by clothes and shitty candy that no one likes.
I'm only 13 and I remember. I remember when i use to go I would always ask for a quarter to get a gumball from the gumball machine... Good times actually XD
I have to admit, it saddened me to see them go and it's an example to us how changing trends and technology in America, can sink damn good businesses, whether we like them or not!
Something of a reminder to us all that if we decide to start a business that, no matter how successful it becomes, we can't become complacent and we'd be wise to have our next business plan in place, or get chewed up in the ever-growing blender of failures.
Awww yeah! Blockbusters and Pizza Hut every Friday night. Mom and Dad picked out a movie while my brother and sister and I picked out some video games and that was our weekend.
Vel Kun Hehe ok ok X3 One night me & my dad went to Blockbuster to get ourselves a movie & maybe some candy if I was lucky! XD It wasn't until we got up to the register & I took my last gulp of ice tea (I was only 5) & my lower area felt funny it was at that point when I just held it until that funny sensation came & then I slowly started to do the dance! XD I kept telling my dad I needed to go & the lady at the front, "Where's the Bathroom?!" & she kept telling me to the back but due to my slow productivity & blunt blissfulness my bladder couldn't take it anymore & all yellow heck went loose I just relieved myself in the middle of the store! XD my dad wasn't happy with me & I apologized for making an accident! XD After seeing this ten years later it makes me happy
