  1. Without better specs the lower chance you'll improve in a game where the average fps is 60
But you have 30 fps all the time.

  2. In my experience, the player gets to the point that he/she is the best his/her rig allows...and THEN he/she upgrades it and gets even better, since the "tech ceiling" is raised.

  3. I play counter strike and have a good pc but played on a 42inch tv on 60hz.... I felt like for some reason I was getting hit before I saw people and I was right.... I changed to a ASUS 1ms 144hz screen and I've gone up in rank and skill by a lot. Sometimes it makes a difference

  4. In general changing your rig won't make much difference but stuff like extra key binds and stuff may do.... and extra buttons on your mouse. Screen to reduce lag will but my rig is basic and I still put fools down

  5. Spending thousands of dollars to upgrade your PC just means you don't know how to upgrade your PC.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Thats also true.... thats because people don't research before

    ReplyDelete
  7. You'd do better without lag though I'm pretty sure. Someone with a nice smooth pc at the same level as you would do better

  8. Jake Nelson Hell I have a GTX 750ti rig, but I also have a laptop that has a crappy Intel Graphics Family Edition and hell It may lag but I have a lot of fun playing Garry's mod online with others. Specs just don't

  9. No I'm not saying you wont enjoy it.... I'm not saying it'll improve your skill.... I'm saying it makes a difference. Believe me i have a laptop lenovo.... nothing special and i play counter strike on it and playing on a better screen with less lag makes a massive difference.

  10. Jake Nelson Well enjoyment is a bit different for others man :/.

  11. PC gaming rule: Build a high end pc to beat console, yet you still use a controller.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yoda Chicken not that I use a controller all the time, but what does that have to do with it? I mainly choose PC for multiplatform games for the flexibility (including keyboard and controller support for most games), better frame rates and loading times.

  13. That is a sick custom loop. God dayumm!!!!

  14. I don't have to spend a bunch of money on a new computer I can just get a deal at Best Buy or Newegg or Fry's Electronics even

  15. Richard Romick Because most pc gamers are hypocrites. They build a beast pc and say pc master race and then most of them use a controller.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yoda Chicken would you explain how using a controller on a PC makes them hypocrites?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Jayanti Novianitha rarely the case lol low specs tend to just help, high specs is to look pretty. Only real differences is how far you can see.

  18. You forgot rule 1 don't be a fucktard to you're fellow console gamers with the pc master race shit

    ReplyDelete
  19. I hope people will realize that they can always decrease graphics to play at decent fps even on a crappy gaming PC.

  20. Olebogeng Thothela while true, some PCs are just too damn old to run newer games lol

    ReplyDelete
  21. Unless your using those thousands of dollars so your computer can run more than 1 fps

    ReplyDelete
  22. I Feel many #peasants lingering.

  23. Yoda Chicken
I wouldn't say using a control itself would make them a hypocrite, but if they use an Xbox controller on their PC, then yes. That said though, that's only if they're one of the people who preach PC master race AND use an Xbox controller.

  24. On topic, I say, if your PC lags a lot, it reduces your ability to play to your best. I couldn't game even close to good on my old PC as I can on my newer $1400 PC with an i7 processor and a GTX 770.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Actually who ever say PC MASTER RACE is not worthy of being called a gamer, gamers play for fun not for no matter what platform they are playing

    ReplyDelete
  26. But it does make the games better, and don't we all want to play better games, if not, go play xbox one and ps4

    ReplyDelete
  27. agreed hands down!
    quite obviously so too...xD

    ReplyDelete
  28. Same goes with cars. Well, anything really... Money doesn't buy ability!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Snk Kulatea Its a little different with cars though.  A car won't drift unless you buy modifications for your car to get the correct power to weight ratio.   Same goes for drag racing.  You need the better engine and gear transmission.  Its not as much skill unless your going up against someone with a car similar to yours.

  30. selby Malone how different? You can modify a computer or stick to xp. Linux or rotary. Gaming mouse or short shifter. If you can't clutch kick or if your fingers aren't used to point clicking, you're shit. No amount of money can help you if you can't shift gears fast enough, same goes with a gaming pc if all of your fingers are thumbs, having an alienware pc ain't gonna do shit.

    ReplyDelete
  31. selby Malone this is about spending money and upgrading something and calling yourself a better gamer, not even stating anything on upgrades effect gameplay and not everyone is looking for that "new engine and transmission" and that's what doesn't make a person a better driver

    ReplyDelete
  32. Nathaniel Clay fair point ^^
I guess it just comes down to if your build can support your skill level
Its been pointed out a few times before that if your computers a lower FPS your game would be worse than someone of the same skill level but a decent FPS
same with cara. You might be able to drift but if your cars FWD you can forget about it

    ReplyDelete
  33. selby Malone Remember that there are games that are not very graphics intensive as well (Garry's Mod, GTA SA, Counter Strike). Some people that have low spec devices don't really care much for it because they are playing well off compatible games anyways. But hell if a nigga want some more power, then yeah upgrading is well worth it, but that won't make them some better gamer all of a sudden. Yeah I agree with yah man

    ReplyDelete
  34. Nathaniel Clay and then there's my computer which can't even handle Minecraft xD

    ReplyDelete
  35. selby Malone dude hell I just buy cheap ass ram XD...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Nathaniel Clay all my parts are damaged so badly. Its a very old computer so I'm building one soon =D

    ReplyDelete
  37. I totally agree but dat cool factor tho \:]

    ReplyDelete
  38. £1000 on a pc what a wast of money said no gamer ever

    ReplyDelete
  39. PC doesn't make a person a better gamer though. Console gamers can wreck a PC gamer while using a preferred controller with a computer, and PC gamers could do it with a console using a mouse an keyboard (if that was possible). Platform doesn't affect skill. That's something you build over time.

    ReplyDelete
  40. It might not make you a better gamer but it makes gaming a better experience

    ReplyDelete
  41. Spending $400 on a console doesn't make you a better gamer

    ReplyDelete
  42. I play with 7 - 18 fps... and I am better than most people...

    ReplyDelete
  43. However, it does help. Skills are good, but worth very little at 4 FPS...
